Every time I make French toast, I remember how amazing it is and wonder why I don’t make it more often. Of course, I think that about pretty much everything I make. If only I had all the time in the world and all I did was cook. That would be awfully nice. This delicious stack of churro protein French toast definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.
I got a couple of boxes from MusclePharm in the mail yesterday. They hooked me up with my favorite combat protein powder flavor, cinnamon bun. I also got a bunch more combat bars and some of the new Arnold series muscle bars. I topped the french toast with pieces of aĀ the frosted cinnamon bun flavor.
For the french toast, I made typical egg mixture and then added some cinnamon bun protein powder. It would have been delicious without any toppings, but you know me. I always have to add extra flavor. For the churro part, I sprinkled each slice with some cinnamon sugar. I you might not want to eat sugar, but trust me it completes this french toast and it literally tastes like a churro.
To finish it all of, I made a cream cheese icing using cream cheese, greek yogurt, stevia, and almond milk. I also added a little drizzle of maple syrup because it just wouldn’t be proper french toast without syrup. Trust me, if you like cinnamon, then this french toast will probably change your life!
