I made these chocolate brownie protein waffles a few days ago before leaving for my race in Vermont. So, as I write this, I am chilling in an Air BNB in Warren, VT with some of the best views I have ever seen. The only thing that would make this better would be if I was eating these waffles right now instead of earlier this week.
I made a pretty simple chocolate protein batter for these waffles. You could even use it for pancakes if you would like. But anyway, I’m calling them chocolate brownie waffles for a couple reasons. The main one is that they have the taste and texture of a delicious brownie.
The other reason is that I topped them with some D’s Naturals chocolate brownie protein fluff butter. I don’t know if you have ever tried it or not, but it is amazing. I’ve never tried crack, but it is probably similar to that. So, do yourself a favor and make these waffles ASAP!
