Since I am such a chocolate lover, I figured why not go with white and dark chocolate? I mean you can never go wrong with double the chocolate. Chocolate waffles drizzled topped with white chocolate peanut butter and drizzled with melted white chocolate is perfect. It was like chocolate heaven.
These waffles were really quick and easy to make. I used Kodiak Cakes whole wheat oat and honey pancake and waffle mix. I added some cocoa powder and 1/2 of a scoop Musclepharm chocolate milk casein protein powder to make them chocolate waffles. It added some great flavor and a boost of protein.
I have never used casein protein in my waffles before, but I really like it. The waffles were sort of chewy and really moist. I can’t stand waffles that are dry. These waffles were perfectly moist and sweet. They almost didn’t even need any toppings. Almost…
The first part of the white chocolate toppings was a drizzle of melted sugar free white chocolate chunks from Amber Lyn Chocolates. To enhance the waffles even more, I added a second layer of white chocolate flavor. Just Friday I received a package in the mail from Nuts-N-More. One of the nut butters they sent me was their white chocolate protein peanut butter. I had to add it to complete these waffles. It tastes amazing!
I am not really sure which I like more right now. Pancakes or waffles. These waffles seriously gave pancakes a run for their money. But let’s be honest, you can never go wrong with pancakes or waffles!
