I was walking through the grocery store and totally caved into marketing. I swear, I can’t NOT try a new Oreo flavor when I see one. I was pretty disappointed with the Java Chip and Carrot Cake Oreos, but the Oreo nailed the S’mores version! So, with said Oreos I decided to make a S’mores Oreo Protein Cake!
S’mores Oreo Protein Cake
We have really two parts to this cake. Obviously, the cake part. And then we have the creamy protein frosting. In my opinion, every good cakes needs a good creamy frosting and that is exactly what we have here.
Chocolate Protein Cake Layer
For the chocolate cake layer, of course we have chocolate. But, it comes in a few different forms. The first is cocoa powder. You can’t have chocolate without a good cocoa powder.
Next, we have the protein.
This part is imperative. You can’t use just any protein because, trust me, it won’t turn out the same. Here I am using my own protein, Macro Supps ONE Protein, which I created at the beginning of these year because I wanted to make the BEST BAKING PROTEIN on the market. And believe me, the ONE Protein is just that.
Currently, we have two flavors: chocolate brownie (used in this recipe) and vanilla ice cream. We have plans to expand the flavors later this year and into next year.
We also have ONE Greens, which a superfood + adaptogen supplement. It isn’t like other Greens on the market which use proprietary blends and less than effective amounts of the superfoods. ONE Greens is clinically dosed and proven effective!
Check out just a few of the already 50+ 5-Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews we have received already👇
Anyway, back to the recipe at hand. The next part is the frosting.
Protein Frosting
The key to a thick, creamy protein frosting are the following:
- Greek yogurt
- Sugar free vanilla pudding mix
- Vanilla Ice Cream flavored ONE Protein
All of these ingredients make this frosting super protein-packed and taste like a unhealthy, sugar laden frosting you would get at the grocery store.
Now I am sure you are wondering where the S’mores flavor comes in. Well, obviously there are the S’mores Oreos in the cake layer and then sprinkled on top. You could even add a little bit of marshmallow cream to the frosting for some extra mallow flavor!

Instructions

Notes
*Truvia is sweeter than sugar / other sweeteners. If you are using a sweetener that measures 1:1 with sugar, use 80-100g.
Make sure to use a whey/casein blend protein like Macro Supps ONE Protein, whey protein will NOT work in this recipe!
