Healthy and delicious chocolate maple protein mug cake layered and topped with a maple peanut butter cream, mini chocolate chips, and pure maple syrup.

Ingredients
Chocolate Maple Cake
  • ½ cup (60g) whole wheat flour
  • 1 scoop (35g) Beast Sports chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp. (5g) cocoa powder
  • ½ tbsp. granulated stevia/sweetener
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ⅓ cup (75g) vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 tbsp. milk (any milk is fine)
  • ⅛ tsp. maple extract
  • ½ tbsp. mini chocolate chips (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup (for topping)*
Maple Peanut Butter Cream
  • ⅓ cup (75g) vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. pure maple syrup (for topping)*
  • 1 tbsp. (16g) peanut butter
Instructions
  1. Mix flour, protein powder, cocoa, sweetener, and baking powder in a bowl. Add Greek yogurt, egg, milk, and maple extract. Gently mix together until well combined.
  2. Spray a large mug with nonstick spray. Pour batter into mug. Microwave for 1:00, check, and then microwave for another 1:00.
  3. Mix all maple peanut butter cream ingredients together in a small bowl. Cut cake in half horizontally. Spread half of the cream in the middle and then the other half on top.
  4. Top with mini chocolate chips and drizzle with pure maple syrup. Enjoy!
Notes
* You can use sugar free maple syrup instead of the pure maple syrup to lower the calories.
