This quick, easy strawberry banana protein smoothie is the perfect post workout snack or breakfast thanks to its ease, creaminess, and nutrients.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsweetened cashew milk*
  • 1 scoop Ascent vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1 large ripe banana, frozen
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ tbsp. Chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. Nut butter of choice (optional)**
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a powerful blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Garnish with a slice of banana. Enjoy!
Notes
*I like cashew milk because it’s nice and creamy. However, any preferred milk will work!
**You don’t have to add the nut butter, however I feel that it lends a thicker, creamier smoothie! And, of course tastes delicious.
