I probably haven’t had a Snicker’s since Halloween. I typically try not to eat a ton of candy, but sometimes you just gotta go for it. It is probably good that I don’t eat it often, because I forgot how delicious Snicker’s are. So, I made a protein-packed breakfast of Snicker’s Protein Oatmeal to get my candy fix!
The best part about this is that you have all the delicious Snicker’s flavor, but this recipe is packed with protein, complex carbs, and fiber. You can’t beat a recipe that tastes like candy but is actually good for you!
The amazing chocolate flavor for this recipe comes from the Xtend Pro chocolate lava cake flavored protein. I am not going to lie, I think it is one of the best chocolate flavor protein powders I have ever used. It has a rich chocolate taste that is so delicious!
Like I mention in the recipe below, I also added some peanut flour to the oatmeal to give it the chocolate peanut butter flavor. Peanut flour is basically defatted peanuts. It gives the delicious peanut butter flavor without all the added fat of peanut butter.
I topped the oatmeal with some sugar free caramel sauce, chopped peanuts, and of course some Snicker’s! It wouldn’t be a Snicker’s Protein Oatmeal recipe without Snicker’s! I am not going to lie, protein oatmeal is one of my favorite things. You can’t beat how good it tastes, the nutrients, protein, and it keeps you full for a long time.

Description
Creamy chocolate peanut butter protein oatmeal topped with a drizzle of caramel sauce, chopped Snicker’s, and peanuts to make the ultimate protein-packed Snicker’s protein oatmeal.
Ingredients
Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup oats (quick or old fashioned)
- 1 cup milk or water*
- 2 egg whites
- 1 scoop Xtend Pro chocolate lava cake protein powder (or other chocolate protein powder)
- 2 tbsp. peanut flour (or peanut butter**)
- pinch of salt
Toppings
- 1/2 tbsp. chopped peanuts
- 1–2 mini Snicker’s (chopped)
- 1 tbsp. sugar free caramel syrup
Instructions
- Cook oats in milk/water according to package instructions. Add egg whites. Whisk vigorously to mix in, and prevent from getting scrambled egg in the oatmeal. Microwave for 30 seconds. Whisk again. Microwave for another 30 seconds.
- Add protein powder, peanut flour, and salt. Mix well until incorporated.
- Once cooked, add peanuts, snickers, caramel sauce and any other desired toppings. Enjoy!
Notes
*I used unsweetened almond milk. I think it makes the oatmeal a little more creamy than water. Any preferred milk can be used, or water can be used as well. **Peanut flour is basically de-fatted peanuts. It will still give the delicious peanut butter flavor with less calories. It can be found in most groceries in the peanut butter aisle. Any peanut butter can be used as well.
