No, it’s not healthy. Yes, it is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. I ate a whole pie in about 3 days last week. So, here it is. The peanut butter pie recipe that so many people requested last time I posted it on Instagram.
Here are some of my favorite ingredients to use on this one
Jif Creamy Peanut Butter (hard to beat the texture and flavor of this classic!)
Krusteaz Pie Crust Mix (when I don’t feel like making my own!)

PrintGrandma’s Peanut Butter Pie
- Yield: 8 slices 1x
Description
This is the best peanut butter dessert you will ever have. Flaky pie crust filled with a sweet and creamy peanut butter filling.
Ingredients
Crust*
- 2 cups flour (white)
- 2/3 cup canola oil
- 1/3 cup milk
Peanut Butter Filling
- 4 cups whole milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter**
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup flour (white)
Instructions
- Mix all crust ingredients in a bowl until crumbly. Press into a pie pan. Crinkle the top of the crust if you are feeling fancy. Bake at 350F until golden.
- Add all peanut butter filling ingredients, except for peanut butter, to a large saucepan.
- Cook until it starts to boil, then turn down heat and simmer until it thickens. Be sure to constantly mix so it doesn’t burn on the bottom of the pan.
- Once mixture thickens, add peanut butter and stir in until completely incorporated. Remove from heat.
- Add peanut butter filling to prepared pie crust. Place in fridge for a few hours to chill and set. Enjoy!
Notes
*You can also use a store-bought crust to make it easier.
** I usually like to add a little bit of extra peanut butter to the recipe. You can add more or less depending how strong of peanut butter flavor you want.
