Peanut butter banana chocolate chip protein bars. That is quite a mouthful. I figured since I love the combination of peanut butter and banana so much I might as well add one of my other favorites int he form of chocolate chips. These turned out so awesome. It’s almost like a peanut butter chocolate chip protein banana bread, but with protein.
I really like how easy these are to make. No baking necessary. Just throw all the ingredients in the food processor and blend them together. Add the chocolate chips. Blend again. Press into a dish. Let chill for a bit, and then slice into bars and enjoy!
A lot of you have probably seen my daily smoothies that I make. If you haven’t seen them, I have a post I made on Instagram showing what all I put into them. One of those things is the Floyd’s of Leadville CBD recovery protein. You can use my code, “MACROCHEF” for 15% off any of their products! It has awesome flavor, quality protein, and of course all the amazing benefits of CBD. This is the protein I used in the recipe, and they turned out amazing!
I’m a huge fan of bars like this. They are so easy to make. Quick to grab and go. Perfect for snacks, training runs/rides, or even a breakfast when you are in a hurry. I took some of them with me to the airport on my flight to London this past week. They really came in handy so that I didn’t have to pay for expensive airport food!

- Total Time: 10 minutes
- Yield: 4 bars 1x
Description
These peanut butter banana chocolate chip protein energy bars are the perfect grab-and-go snack to fuel with protein and healthy ingredients!
Ingredients
- 3 scoops Floyd’s Vanilla CBD protein (1.5 servings*)
- 1/2 cup peanut flour
- 2 tbsp. Creamy peanut butter
- 1 banana (ripe)
- 1 tbsp. Honey (more or less to taste)
- Pinch of salt
- Cinnamon (optional)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except for chocolate chips to a food processor. You can try a blender, but it will be harder to blend together than a food processor. It will make a thick, almost sticky, dough.
- Add chocolate chips. Pulse for a few times to mix chocolate chips evenly into the dough.
- Line a small dish, or tupperware container with foil (about 4×4 in). Press protein bar dough into the dish and press down so it fills evenly.
- Put in fridge to chill/set for about 30 minutes. Slice into 4 bars and enjoy!
Notes
*If you don’t have the Floyd’s of Leadville CBD protein powder, you can use any vanilla whey protein powder.
