Moist chocolate cherry protein pancakes layered with cherry greek yogurt, and topped with healthy dark chocolate sauce, cherries, and mini chocolate chips.

Pancakes
- 1/2 cup (60g) whole wheat flour
- 1 scoop (35g) Musclepharm chocolate milk combat protein powder
- 1 tbsp. (5g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp. granulated stevia or erythritol
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk (any milk is fine)
- 1 large whole egg
- 1/4 cup (56g) plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp. diced cherries (optional)
Dark Chocolate Sauce
- 1 tbsp. (5g) dark cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup (or honey, agave, sugar free syrup, etc.)
- stevia to taste
Extra Toppings
- 1 container (150g) cherry Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp. (5g) mini chocolate chips
- frozen cherries
Instructions
- Preheat pan or griddle to medium/high heat. In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, stevia and baking powder. In a separate bowl, add milk, egg, and Greek yogurt and mix.
- Add wet ingredients to dry. Gently mix together until smooth. Fold in diced cherries (optional). Be careful not to over mix. Spoon batter onto griddle to make 5 medium sized pancakes. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Mix all dark chocolate sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Layer pancakes with cherry Greek yogurt. Top with dark chocolate sauce, cherries, and mini chocolate chips.
