Waffles

  • 3/4 cup (90g) whole wheat flour
  • 1 scoop (33g) MusclePharm cinnamon bun combat protein powder
  • 2 tbsp. granulated stevia or erythritol
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup (56g) natural applesauce (or yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp. milk (any milk is fine)
  • 1/4 tsp. maple extract
  • 1/2 MusclePharm cinnamon combat bar

Maple Peanut Butter Sauce

  • 3 tbsp. (18g) peanut flour (or natural peanut butter
  • a few drops of maple extract
  • 1 tbsp. granulated stevia or erythritol
  • enough water to make a thick sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat Belgian waffle maker to medium heat. Mix flour, protein powde, stevia, cinnamon and baking powder.
  2. In a separate bowl, add egg whites, milk, applesauce,and maple exract. Mix well.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Gently mix together until combined. Spray waffle iron with nonstick spray. Pour batter evenly into waffle iron to make 4 Belgian waffles. Cook for about 4 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Combine all maple peanut butter ingredients. Drizzle maple peanut butter sauce over waffles. Chop cinnamon combat bar and put on top. Drizzle with maple syrup if desired. Enjoy!
