Cookies and milkshakes? What? This cookie butter milkshake is protein packed, no added sugars, and insanely creamy and delicious. This is the cookie butter protein milkshake. I have to say, after trying this, I don’t think you will ever need a real milkshake again!
So, some of you may be wondering what cookie butter is. If you go to Trader Joe’s, you have probably heard of or seen their cookie butter. It is basically Biscoff cookies all crunched up into a creamy peanut butter like texture spread. I am not sure how they make this stuff taste so good. I actually think it started over in Europe with Speculoos spread. Which, I was just in Europe for a couple months, and I made sure to eat quite a few jars of it while there.
Anyway, cookie butter is amazing. Imagine a combination of peanut butter and delicious cookies all wrapped into one spread. Yep, that’s it. I am glad that Trader Joe’s has their version of it, otherwise I’d have to import some Speculoos from Europe!
So, the main reason that it is a cookie butter protein milkshake is of course the cookie butter flavor. Not only did I add the cookie butter protein, but I also used my Xtend Pro cookie butter flavored protein powder. It is pretty wild how amazing it tastes and how close the flavor is to actual cookie butter. If you make this shake, trust me you will not be disappointed. You really can’t beat a ice cold shake like this in the summer that is not only packed with protein, but fiber and nutrients as well. It’s a winner in my book for sure!
